iLibe Application

About the Project

iLibe is an advanced simulator designed to replicate the functionality of a virtual library system. This project is segmented into three primary roles: Admin, Employee, and User, each with tailored functionalities. Admins have the ability to manage books and employees, oversee user details, and perform various administrative tasks such as adding, deleting, and editing records. Employees can manage books, monitor financial status, and track credits received for their sales. Users are provided with options to borrow books, give feedback, and update their account details. The system utilizes a MySQL database for efficient data storage and management, ensuring that all book records, user information, and operational data are accurately maintained and easily accessible.

Features

User Management

Users can easily create an account by entering details on the registration page. Returning users can log in with their username and password. This feature ensures that only authorized users can access the library's functionalities.

User and Employee Management

Admins have the ability to oversee both user and employee records. They can add, edit, and delete employee details and view all registered users. This ensures smooth operation and proper administration within the library system.

Book Management

Admins can manage the library's collection by adding new books, editing existing entries, and deleting books that are no longer available. This functionality is crucial for keeping the library's inventory up-to-date and organized.

Book Borrowing System

Users can browse available books, select their preferred titles, and borrow them. The system keeps track of borrowed books and their due dates, ensuring users can easily manage their loans and the library can maintain its inventory accurately.

Feedback System

Users are encouraged to provide feedback on their experience using the library system. This feature allows users to rate their experience and suggest improvements, helping the library continuously enhance its services based on user input.

Financial Status

Employees can view their financial status, including salary, absences, and official leaves. Additionally, they can track the credits received from book sales and other transactions.
